Why do students choose an MBA Imagineering at BUas? We asked student Sheyndel. She has in a background in the tech industry.

Why did you choose this master’s programme? And why BUas? It is unique. Only BUas has the focus in Imagineering. From all other MBA programmes, the MBA in Imagineering is the most different one. I found out about this MBA in 2018 during my bachelor's degree and the Imagineering concept amazed me. I’ve been reading about it since then. In March 2020, I came for the Open Day, and I got sure I wanted to study here. The campus has an amazing infrastructure, it is a really high-tech campus, and the environment motivates you to be there studying. Besides that, everything about this MBA is interesting: the subjects, the classes, the lecturers. From that moment, I was sure that was the right programme for me.
Could you share the most interesting part about a project, research, or subject you (have been) working on? As an MBA student, we are free to apply our own particular interest in the MBA’s assignment. Since we have the liberty to choose what to focus on, I really had fun doing all the last block’s assignments. For instance, my first assignment I’ve talked about Women in Tech and Imagineering. So, I could combine my own experience with a subject that I am keen on discussing about, plus relate with Imagineering concepts.
Do you know already what you want to do with your master’s degree? Do you have a certain position or career step in mind? My background is in the Tech Industry, mostly in Digital Transformation projects. I have a particular interest in how Generative Artificial Intelligence, and other new technologies can co-create with Humans to boost creativity and make our lives easier. So, this is a topic I would like to keep exploring. I really want to apply Imagineering in this field that is growing and has a lot of impact in our society and environment.
